Arrive in the Great Smoky Mountains and you'll be enchanted as you walk among the wildflowers and waterfalls. The food was lousy, did not come out like it was described, and the pool server simply stated that they have to walk a quarter of a mile to have it corrected and that there was a new cook that day who was Mexican and did not understand much English. Our second day at the pool however was considerably different. This was our 33rd wedding anniversary trip! Pooll service was very slow but the food the first day was wonderful. When we arrived back at our room my pillows are exchanged, my husband's pillows have fresh pillowcases and we're left on the dirty floor and the bed look like it had been made by a kindergartner. I asked the housekeeper the next morning and she said she would have the pillows changed for me. Our room is supposed to be feather and down free. Our room faced rooftop air conditioners that were noisy all night oh, and our own air conditioner sounds like a helicopter.
